We have been appointed by Linda and Carl Johnson, the founding partner of Anomaly, to design and build all the refurbishment works for their six storey listed building facing Primrose Hill Park. From the beginning the project was crafted to enhance the original beauty of the house while reflecting the modern lifestyle of the client.

Following a 20 years tenure period with limited care and attention, the building was in desperate need of a full refurbishment, from new mechanical and electrical services to refreshed finishes throughout. We have first addressed all the structural weaknesses mainly visible in the staircase hall, front balcony, roofs and hidden gutters. The original stone stairs have been carefully restored and brought back to their intended grandeur.

The rear conservatory previously used as a play area is now hosting a minimalist Bulthaup kitchen and benefits new thermally efficient glazing and underfloor heating system. The kitchen opens towards a relaxed garden at the back. A fire curtain is now permitting the kitchen to create an unobstructed link from the main entrance to the rear garden.
